What have You done today...

You know that fabulously motivating theme song from The Biggest Loser? Every Tuesday I know it's coming, so I like to have worked out or done at least SOMETHING productive that day. Otherwise, I feel guilty while all of the fat people on tv are making themselves better. This is the song...

What have you done today to make you feel proud?
It's never too late to try...
What have you done today to make you feel proud?
We need a change...yea
Do it today, yea
I can feel my spirit rising,
Change, yea
We need a change...yea
So do it today,'yea
Cause I can see a clear horizon.
What have you done today to make you feel proud?
You could be so many people...
If you make that break for freedom.
What have you done today to make you feel proud?

Well, it sucks to be forced to answer that question with, "I sat on my butt, played on the computer all day, watched tv, ate some food, and just sat down with a coke and cookies as I sit down to watch you fat people get skinny". I'm tired of answering that question like that, so today, I am going to reinstate our gym membership. It's about time.

I started out this year doing really good and working out 4-6 times a week. I have super-sucked at getting my butt in gear for about 4 weeks now. It's quite depressing because now that I've been lazy for that long, all of the endurance and slight results I was seeing are all back to how they were before 2009 rolled around. Just shows you how unhealthy it is to be lethargic and lazy. I hope to start getting back into shape soon. After all, summer & bikinis ARE right around the corner.

Um... don't feel bad. It's been 4 weeks since you've gotten in gear? It's been WAY longer than that for me! I'd rather not talk about it. ;-)

i love the biggest loser!! anyways, one thing that helps me is not to pressure on yourself to work out "x" number of times per week. when i get in that mindset, it's hard to keep up so i end up doing an all or nothing kind of thing. not earth-shattering advice, but oh well =).
