Gettin' started on this thing...

Well, I've been considering starting my own blog for a while now...and finally, as I wait for my husband to log onto Yahoo! Messenger for our first Internet date since he's been deployed, I have found myself rather bored & with nothing better to do than to sit here and ramble on about nothing. I can assure you that throughout this whole blogging experience, my blogs will become more interesting...or, at least we both hope so! I guess I'll have to let you be the judge of that.

I guess I will keep going on about my current life situation. I'll let you walk a little in my shoes for the time being...if you wish. If you didn't know, I just got married on July 28th, to the most wonderful man on planet earth...and the earth is big (just in case you didn't know that!). He has been amazing to me since the first night I met him. Married life has been the happiest time of my life. I am so thankful that God chose such a wonderful person for me. Unfortunately, my amazing husband also has an amazing job. Some wouldn't believe that this was unfortunate...but, I will explain what I mean. My husband, Chad, is a C-130 pilot in the United States Air Force. And since we are in a time of war, being such a pilot means...(dun, dun, dun)...deployments. a.k.a. time away from family, and the wifey! :( . Don't get me wrong, I am EXTREMELY proud of him for his knowledge, his expertise, his dedication, and his courage to serve our country. He is therefore, not only MY HERO, but a hero to us all, in a sense. I know there are thousands of other soldiers just like him, serving us all and defending our freedom every day. I just want to say thank you to them for their outstanding bravery and the sacrifices they make with their families and friends. But only 2 full weeks into the 4 month deployment and I am feeling like February may never come...I love & miss him with all of my heart...
