We have had a great super-long weekend so far. We decided to leave Fayetteville early on Thursday to drive down to Columbia to visit Chris for the night. We ended up going to dinner at McAlister's which is one of our faves and to see the new Indiana Jones movie. It was alright, but didn't quite live up to the coolness of the other three. And Harrison Ford is looking OLD! :-P
We then went out to a restaurant/bar called Wild Wing in Columbia. There was a live cover band playing that was AWESOME.

We woke up Friday morning and got Krispy Kreme donuts and took them to a park at USC and sat on a bench to eat them. Chocolate Boston kreme filled donuts and cinnamon twists are the only way to go there! They were yummy.
While we've been here, we've gone bowling (where I kicked butt with a high score of 173), went roller skating with their little cousin Katie (it's been a while), to a small southern church service, to a bar with crazy rednecks everywhere (worse than anything I've ever seen in TX), to the Cabarrus Creamery for Sunday afternoon ice cream (with the biggest 'kiddie' scoop I've ever seen!), and on a never-failing 1:00am Waffle House excursion. It's been a great weekend! Pictures are finally here!
Poor boys didn't stand a chance...:)
Now we're home again and busy catching up on laundry and life. Another fun week of activities is to come...Until later...
P.S. Congratulations to both the Cozarts & the Dawsons on their new babies to love! I'm glad all are healthy and happy...not to mention beautiful too!! :)
