Goodness, Gracious, Great Balls of...Laziness :)

Well, hello again everybody! I am very, very sorry that my hands have been too tired to type and my mind too crazy to muster up words for you on a daily basis, but rest assured, I am back now. I have officially and successfully survived the Christmas season at the Shipping Point...a.k.a. mailing center that attracts the biggest and bestest dummies of San Angelo (for some reason unexplained, haha). YAY!! I really did think there for a lil while that I wasn't going to make it, so a true feat for me is what we speak of! haha.

Well, to catch you up on the past couple of weeks...I worked a lot, worked even more, and then worked again. I think I accomplished wrapping approximately 200 gifts (at work, not including any of mine) for other people. What a great time that is! You get to see what's in them (which very rarely is anything to get excited about) but you never get to see anybody open them, which we all know is the fun part of gift-giving. So, needless to say, it's a rather bland task. But it's over with and I can now be considered a 'professional wrapper'....yay...just don't ask me to give you a beat! ;) hehe.

As most of you might have noticed, it was Christmas yesterday! Yay for Jesus' birthday! I must admit that it was a rather lovely day with the family, considering one of the biggest links in the chain was missing. I really did miss Chad and was pouty for a little while, but as he would like me to do, I bucked up and enjoyed the time I got to spend with my fam. I received presents including my wonderful & most favoritest perfume (Estee Lauder Beautiful Sheer) & a sensual massage from my wonderful husband (those were my faves). We also got a lot of kitchen-ware that we realized we needed in the short amount of time we had to live together before he left. Also, an Ipod armband, the sweetest, softest neck wrap & bathtub pillow on earth, a hott black jacket, and some cute tanks, to name a few things. We then drank Mimosas and watched Jeff Dunham's Spark of Insanity comedy dvd...hilarious. Then we proceeded to play family games which included Jeff Foxworthy's "You might be a redneck if..." game and CatchPhrase- Song Edition til late in the night. It was a great day overall, but would have been much sweeter with my honey here.

I mostly felt badly for Chad and the guys overseas. I know spending time together (just like they do everyday) with the Playstation & tv shows is fun and all, but there's nothing in the world like family and the ones you love. A wannabe Christmas feast in a cafeteria setting just doesn't do Christmas justice, so thank you guys. And I'm ashamed that we take for granted all of the time we get to spend with our family's on a regular basis. I am very blessed to be here to spend it with mine. Now on to New Years...
